image of the month…wow.  what a great exercise this is for me to reflect on a month’s worth of work.  not only does it give me a chance to be my own critic but i am noticing that a lot of my images have the same feel to them.  i think i am ok with this.  but yes…i shoot at 24mm ALL THE TIME…. and i love these images uncropped.

on another note, looking back at a month’s worth of personal work is a constant reminder that i need to keep taking pictures of my family - really, i wish i took more.

Lana is from Switzerland and spending a year here in minnesota.  these pics are for her -  and for her friends and family overseas.  

she is adorable.  i just love her happy face(s).

a definite favorite.  the sun is reflecting off a window across the street, beautiful light.

happy father’s day to all dads (belated i know)  - i took some photos of my sister in law and nephew as a surprise for father’s day for my brother in law.  now that father’s day is past i thought i would post a few faves from that morning in may (where does the time go?)

you will be missed.  after 19 months of taking care of our friend’s children, lily is returning to her home in france.  

my gift to her was a photo album and here are a few faves of mine

favorite personal image - my favorite for many reasons.  this is their cousin jack who was visiting from pittsburgh.  we haven’t seen him in nearly two years since he was a baby - can you see the resemblance?

we are excited to live across the street from this awesome family.  i just want to squeeze and squish Reagan, she is 4 months old.

there are 5 remaining openings for Summer 2009 - 3 in June and 2 in August.  

I really am a control freak about my schedule…  and I like to have balance and spend plenty of time with my boys.

speaking of summer and boys - happy boy about the 80 degree weather…

outdoor sessions are in full swing - i will be posting about my schedule later this week.  

i loved everything about this session.  

baby connor was napping when i arrived so we started with some couple shots w/ their dogs and cool house / property.

it was windy and overcast, but strangely the sky cleared for a few minutes and looked very cool.
