danielas journey

two weeks shy of her second birthday daniela was diagnosed with leukemia. about 6 weeks ago i joined fran (daniela’s mom, my college friend and maid of honor in my wedding) and her family and friends (140+people) to celebrate the end of daniela’s treatments – her “no more cancer” party.

fran is an avid blogger herself, and a  scrapbooker and i love reading her blog!

maybe you remember my previous posts about daniela – here is one from may 2007 – click here

Lucy Angelo - Heidi As I remember that moment it was when Fran was speaking. I had just glanced at Casey with tears in his eyes. I remember closing my eyes, feeling the sun, feeling Daniela's soft curls and saying thank you, thank you, thank you. Thank you for all the photographs. Looking at them will always put things in perspective. Your work is beautiful and brings people so much joy. Grandma LucySeptember 27, 2009 - 7:04 pm
