Merry Christmas – a wish

We have done things differently this year.

Number one, we did not send Christmas cards.  I still can’t believe it myself given that yes,  I do have the tools – the photos of the kids, and the software to design a card.  We also did not buy gifts for the wonderful people at Scott’s work.

Instead, we took the money that we saved on cards / postage, work gifts and added $10 from each photo session from 2008 and donated to the Make a Wish Foundation for Riley.  I don’t know him but would sure love to see an eight year old who is battling a brain tumor go on a Nickelodeon cruise.

To all of my clients – thank you.  You have helped me live a dream of mine – i dream of becoming a great photographer, i dream of making people smile, laugh, cry and remember.  Each year I will “raise the bar”.  I hope that you will watch me continue to grow.

Thinking of my friends –  I love you and miss so many of you.  And my family back East, I am really missing them around the holidays.  Thank you Scott for your constant encouragement and support, especially when my confidence wavers, which it does – often.

**some exciting news – the website has been completely revamped, galleries are updated, check it out here.

Here is a recent family shot, the only one in at least two years that I am in.  There’s another wish, PLEASE get my family (with me) behind Becky’s camera in 2009.

XOXO
