two weeks shy of her second birthday daniela was diagnosed with leukemia. about 6 weeks ago i joined fran (daniela’s mom, my college friend and maid of honor in my wedding) and her family and friends (140+people) to celebrate the end of daniela’s treatments – her “no more cancer” party.

my big boy turned seven today
he is so crazy about baseball this year, which makes this a perfect portrait of him right now in his life.

it was great to be back “home” on my old stomping grounds, this used to be my favorite location for photos when i lived in pennsylvania.
what a nice change for me since i could not be further away from the ocean here in minnesota.
